Aki Ra, a former member of the Khmer Rouge and a UN demining specialist, of Cambodia set a record for being the first person to establish a museum dedicated to displaying bombs, mines and unexploded ordnance in Indochina. He disarmed several mines in his home area and made a huge collection of the unexploded bombs, mines and ordnance which eventually turned into a museum, as confirmed on February 2, 2024.

Heng Development Company of Cambodia holds the record for being the first company in Indochina to produce electric cars. They produced the small electric car- Angkor EV 2013 – which was unveiled in Phnom Penh on Jan 7, 2013. The 60 km/hr car was designed by Nhean Phaloek. The 2-seater car with a vertically opening door design can run for 300 km/charge and can be controlled by a smartphone.

PicoDragon of Vietnam holds the record for being the first picosatellite in Indochina successfully operated in space. It is a small satellite that followed the 1U type of CubeSat program built by Vietnam National Satellite Center and operated in space for 3 months. It was the first product to be built in Vietnam in the space technology field.

Tam Thanh basket boat art path in the central province of Quang Nam, Vietnam, holds the record for the first artistic basket boat path in Indochina. The project has been conducted by art teachers in Tam Ky Town and voluntary artists from Hanoi. Volunteers painted colourful murals on over 100 houses and followed up the home murals by painting over 100 coracle boats and creating a 1.5-kilometer-long “boat road.” The paintings reflect the true scenery and daily life in this fishing village.

Vo Thanh Tung of Vietnam set the record for being the first athlete to win a Paralympic silver medal for swimming in Indochina. The wheelchair-bound Tung won a Paralympic silver medal in 2016 and secured the top position in short course races in many Asian Para Games. He has won more than 200 medals from tournaments both domestic and international, as confirmed on February 12, 2024.

Aarav Krish V. N. (born on August 5, 2017) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for being the fastest to recall all Asian countries with capitals by the individual outlined maps. He recalled the names of all 48 Asian countries and capitals in 40 seconds and 64 milliseconds by viewing the individual outlined maps of the countries on a laptop screen, at the age of 6 years, 6 months and 17 days, as confirmed on February 27, 2024.

Askyon Roller Skating Academy (Karunagappally) of Kerala, India, set a record for conducting the maximum participation of students in a roller-skating flash mob. They organized a roller-skating flash mob on December 23, 2023, wherein 26 students participated and performed for 5 minutes and 52 seconds, as confirmed on January 15, 2024.

Dann Abraham (born on April 16, 2020) of Tamil Nadu, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for reciting the multiples of numbers from 1 to 25 (sets of 10) in 3 minutes and 37 seconds, at the age of 4 years, as confirmed on May 8, 2024.

Aadam Johan Bibin (born on May 24, 2017) of Kerala, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for answering 52 questions on the stars of the universe in 6 minutes and 10 seconds, at the age of 6 years and 6 months, as confirmed on December 13, 2023.

Sias International College and Didi Express of China jointly set a record for making the biggest QR code of human beings in Zhengzhou University, China. They organised a whopping number of 2,520 people in a QR code pattern of the size 51 meters x 51 meters, as confirmed on December 18, 2023.
