Tam Thanh basket boat art path in the central province of Quang Nam, Vietnam, holds the record for the first artistic basket boat path in Indochina. The project has been conducted by art teachers in Tam Ky Town and voluntary artists from Hanoi. Volunteers painted colourful murals on over 100 houses and followed up the home murals by painting over 100 coracle boats and creating a 1.5-kilometer-long “boat road.” The paintings reflect the true scenery and daily life in this fishing village.
