Elstan Anthony Fernandez (born on September 18, 1962) of Karnataka, India, set a record for authoring the maximum number of books on Marine Engineering. He authored 112 books on Marine Engineering in different capacities as single author, first author and second author. The books include ‘Equipment and Systems Batteries and Battery Charging on Ships’ (ISBN: 978-93-55420-65-7) and ‘Marine Control Technology 6th Edition’ (ISBN: 978-93-55428-95-0), published by Shroff Publishers and Distributors Pvt. The record for the maximum number of students participating in a quiz contest across multiple locations in a day was set by Paschim Banga Samagra Siksha Mission under School Education Department across West Bengal schools, researched and organized by MOSEDU Knowledge Foundation. A total of 51,87,489 students aged between 6 to 16 years, of 50,674 different schools (Class I to Class XII) participated in the Ananda Parishar Quiz on the Indian Freedom Movement, as confirmed on August 17, 2024.

They made the biggest Lord Ganesha Idol (measuring 9.5 feet in height and 16.5 feet in width) using clay modelling with fibre, iron, and decorated it with 1,0,1,100 Indian currency coins of different denominations, namely Rs. 1, 2, 5, and 10, as confirmed on September 7, 2024.

Vi John Healthcare India LLP of Gurugram, Haryana, India, set a record for the ‘Largest Lord Ganesha Idol Sculpted with Shaving Foam and Cream.’ The life-size idol measures 8.15 feet in height, 5 feet in length, and 3 feet in width, and is crafted entirely from Vi-John shaving foam and shaving cream. This remarkable installation will be on display at the Grand Highstreet Mall in Pune, Hinjawadi, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Pimpri-Chinchwad from September 7 to September 17, 2024, as confirmed on September 7, 2024.

Signify Innovations India Limited, Gurugram, Haryana set a record for the ‘Largest Illuminated Modak Installation’. The Modak, featuring a base diameter of 17 feet, a middle diameter of 24.5 feet, and a height of 18.5 feet, is illuminated by Philips-brand lights. It was installed during the Ganpati festival at the intersection of Chintamani Ganpati Mandal and Lal Bagh Cha Raja in Mumbai.
