Yoshie and Michie Kikuchi, both of Japan, set a record for having the biggest height differential in living non-identical female twins in Okayama, Japan. Kami Rita Sherpa of Nepal set a record for performing the maximum ascents of Mount Everest by a mountaineer. Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world at 8,848.86 m (29,032 ft) above sea level. He has successfully summitted Everest for the 28th time in his mountaineering career, as confirmed on June 9, 2023.

Kami Rita Sherpa of Nepal set a record for performing the maximum ascents of 8,000ers by a mountaineer. He took his total number of true-summit ascents of mountains higher than 8,000 m (26,247 ft) to 38 across his mountaineering career. He has successfully summitted Everest for the 28th time in his mountaineering career, as confirmed on June 9, 2023.

Bobi (born May 11, 1992), a Portuguese breed of livestock guardian dog owned by the Costa family in the rural village of Conqueiros, in Leiria, Portugal, set a record of being the oldest dog in the world. It is 31 years old, as confirmed on June 9, 2023.

He surpassed the record of 38,387 points held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the 20th season of his career whilst playing for the Los Angeles Lakers against Oklahoma City Thunder, as confirmed on June 9, 2023.

Bárbara Hernández Huerta of Chile set a record for performing the longest polar ice swim by a female swimmer in Chile Bay, aka Discovery Bay (latitude 62.29° S), off Greenwich Island, South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. She swam a distance of 2.5 kilometres (1.55 miles) in 45 minutes 30 seconds in the water with average temperature 2.23°C (32.4°F), as confirmed on June 9, 2023.
