Lu Chao (China) memorized a total of 67,890 digits of pi in 24 hours and 4 minutes, at the Northwest A&F University, China, on November 20, 2005. He successfully recited the digits with an error at the 67,891st digit, saying it was a “5”, when it was actually a “0”. He says it took him about 1 year to memorize 100,000 digits.

Moirangthem Okendra Kumbi, from Manipur, India, has been shaping in his garden called, ‘Hedge to Heavens’, the shoots of the sky flower bush which has apparently grown to a height of 18.59 meters. He had started shaping the bush since 1983 and has, till date, cut 41 structural shapes in it.
