Asako Kanda (Japan) has a collection of 4,519 different Hello Kitty items including stationeries of Hello Kitty, a Hello Kitty toilet seat etc . She has been collecting these objects from the time she was in elementary school and in future she wants a Hello Kitty-shaped house, with two ears sticking out of the roof. Her ultimate wish is to have a funeral Kitty-style with a Hello Kitty-shaped tombstone.

P. R. Subramania Chetty & Corporation, Tamil Nadu (India), manufactured a handloom silk sari (sari is the native clothing for women of the Indian Subcontinent) by using 1, 46,600 punched design cards and 1,920 hooks and illustrated 32 natural shades, within a duration of 1 month. This silk woven sari, which costs Rs. 1, 50,000 INR (2695.4250 USD), measures 5.92m in length, 124.5cm in width and weighs 1,440gm.

Paeng Nepomuceno (Philippines) became the youngest tenpin bowling world champion, when he won the Bowling World Cup of the year 1976 which was held in Tehran, Iran, at the age of 19 years and 292 days.

A total of 12,000 Sky Lanterns were flown simultaneously in HITEX, Hyderabad (India), as a part of India’s first ever Annual Sky Lantern festival, on March 25, 2012. The event was organized by Business of Tollywood, a site which combines business and entertainment in the Telugu Film industry (India).

Uma Jayakumar, from Bangalore (India), can do over 60 hairstyles in a minute and she can even do it with her eyes closed. She takes just 30 seconds for doing a sari and another 30 seconds for a full bridal make-up.

Rattanaporn Supha and Nitiphong Jittahong (both from Thailand), got themselves married while being suspended from a cliff by sling wires. The couple wore full protective harness with the bride adding a flowing white length of cloth to her casual attire.
