Yadhavi Sports Academy for Special Needs, Chennai, India set the record for maximum distance covered in open sea swimming relay by children in autism spectrum. The children being in autism spectrum swam 89.09 nautical miles (165 km) in 43 hours and 55 minutes in the open sea from Silver Beach, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu to Marina Beach, Chennai, under the coaching & guidance of Mr. Sathish Sivakumar, Yadhavi Sports Academy, for Special Needs Chennai between 1st Feb to 4th Feb, as confirmed on February 4, 2024.

State Poverty Eradication Mission (Kudumbashree) of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India set the record for organising the largest training campaign by women in a single state. A campaign called “Thirike Schoolil” (Back to School) was conducted across the state from October 1, 2023 till December 31, 2023 from 9.30 am till 4.30 pm wherein a total of 38,70794 members of Kudumbashree network went to the local schools and attended a one-day training to get a new direction for functioning as an efficient Neighbourhood Group, as confirmed on December 31, 2023.

Avadi Police commissionerate and Sparkling starz of Tamil Nadu, set the record for the Largest Symbolic Human Formation for Drug Awareness. A total of 3600 people participated and gathered at the Avadi Police Commissionerate Ground and formed the human symbol “Say No to Drugs” to promote healthy living, mindfulness, awareness and wellness among the younger generation kids and also community members about the usage of drugs and its bad effects, as confirmed on February 5, 2024.

Rithik P. (born on November 3, 2018) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for naming the maximum number of Asian countries with capitals, currencies and official languages by the flags. He identified the flags and named 46 Asian countries with capitals, currencies and official languages in 3 minutes and 54 seconds by viewing the pictures of flags on a chart, at the age of 5 years, 1 month and 2 days, as confirmed on December 7, 2023.

Dr. K. Syed Zameer Ahmed (born on June 30, 1981), Associate Professor (Department of Biotechnology), K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology (Tiruchengode) of Tamil Nadu, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for filing 11 patents on Biotechnology for Health Sciences at the Indian Patent Office (Chennai) on August 4, 2023, as confirmed on November 18, 2023.

Vihaan Anand Saraf (born on December 16, 2013) of Maharashtra, India, set a record for making and demonstrating the maximum number of simple machines with smart blocks. He made 100 simple machines with smart blocks, using frames, connectors, pulleys, gears, chains, wheels, and demonstrated their respective mechanisms, at the age of 9 years, 11 months and 8 days, as confirmed on December 6, 2023.

Mandar Madhukar Tamhankar (born on April 20, 1973) of Maharashtra, India (now residing in Australia), set a record for covering the maximum distance in a solo motorcycle expedition across Australia. He started his expedition from Sydney at 12.30 p.m. on August 21, 2022, and completed it at New South Wales at 11.00 a.m. on September 18, 2022, covering a distance of 19,650 km in 28 days, to raise awareness about a slogan ‘Drive under the Speed Limit’, as confirmed on October 5, 2023.

Indo Science Education Trust (ISET), Space Tutor ISRO, of Maharashtra, India, set a record for completing the first successful manned testing of a satellite on board a paramotor. They successfully completed the testing of a satellite named ‘VAYUSAT’ at Government Gliding Centre, Pune, DGCA, on August 15, 2023, to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The satellite was developed by school going students under the guidance of scientists from ISET. The paramotor flight team tested the satellite at an altitude of 2,600 feet and Live Data was tracked and tested at multiple stations, as confirmed on September 13, 2023.

Largest brand promotion sentence created using snow Procter & Gamble Health Limited, India set the record for largest brand promotion sentence created using snow. The team came to Sonmarg and created a brand promotion sentence “Nasivion, Unblock Nose In 25 Seconds, Last Long Upto 12 Hours” in the snow, which measured an impressive 400 sq. feet in the snow-covered landscape of Srinagar, as confirmed on December 22, 2023.

The Commissionerate, Women & Child Development (Women Welfare) of Gujarat, India set the record for the maximum girls participating in democratic session on comprehensive youth empowerment. A distinctive celebration “Tejaswini Vidhan Sabha” to mark Girl’s Day on January 24, 2024 was organised at the state Legislative Assembly premises wherein all activities of the day including event management were overseen by 1588 girl participants as confirmed on January 24, 2024.
