Sun Zibo and team of China set a record for achieving the biggest altitude change by a petrol-powered car at an event organised by MG brand of SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Company of China in Laqiongla Mountains, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. They started their attempt at the Aiding Lake (- 148.379 m) on February 25, 2023, and ended at the Laqiongla Mountains (5,829.788 m) on March 6, 2023. They achieved the altitude change of 5,978.17 m (19,613ft 5in), driving a MG7 car, as confirmed on May 29, 2023.

Henan Baoquan Tourism Co.,Ltd. of China set a record for installing the tallest elevator inside a mountain in Xinxiang, Henan, China. The elevator measures 336 m (1,102 ft 4.34 in), as confirmed on May 29, 2023.

Aadvik R. (born on April 12, 2021) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for blowing the maximum number of balloons. He blew 206 balloons to a size of 15 cm in length and 13 cm in width in 1 hour, 6 minutes and 36 seconds at the age of 1 year, 11 months and 29 days, as confirmed on May 8, 2023.

Aashvi Gupta (born on March 22, 2014) of Delhi, India, set a record for performing the maximum number of hula hoop spins in 30 minutes by switching hands. She performed 2,675 hula hoop spins by switching a single hula hoop between both hands in 30 minutes at the age of 9 years and 27 days, as confirmed on May 11, 2023.

P. Nithya (born on February 5, 1984) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for performing the maximum number of dumbbell bicep curls in one minute. She performed 34 dumbbell bicep curls in one minute using 2 dumb bells of 10 kg (each dumb bell weighing 5 kg) in both hands while being blindfolded, as confirmed on March 25, 2023.

McCauley Hoover of the USA set a record for doing the maximum skateboard backside grinds in one minute in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. Her count in one minute was 33 at the age of 11 years, as confirmed on May 27, 2023.

Rituparna Baruah (born on August 6, 2004) of Assam, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for reciting 18 Japanese poems (Haiku) in 47 seconds and 79 seconds at the age of 18 years and 8 months, as confirmed on April 29, 2023.

Laos holds the record for being the maximum bombed country in world history. For ten years (1964-1973), the CIA conducted intensive daily aerial bombing campaigns over Laos. It was subjected to 580,344 bombing missions and a total of more than two million tons of aerial-dropped explosive ordnance. The bombing equates to one B-52 plane load of bombs being dropped every eight minutes for nine years – about two tons of bombs per person, as confirmed on May 24, 2023.
