The Australian startup Vow, set a record of being the first company to create a meatball made of extinct woolly mammoth meat in a lab. They cultivated meat using the pachyderm’s cells taken from an African elephant, which is the mammoth’s closest living relative. This material was injected into a sheep cell which multiplied, and grew large enough to make a giant meatball between the size of a softball and volleyball, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Lions Befrienders Service Association of Singapore set a record for making the largest word formation from origami cranes. A total of 50 senior citizens  folded paper cranes over 14 sessions and then pasted on boards to create a word formation measuring 6 m x 1.8 m in size for their National Day celebration, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Teo Sau Yang of Singapore, set a record for doing maximum push-ups in one minute. He is an ex-commando of National Service of Singapore. He performed 120 push-ups in one minute outside Cuba Libre, Clarke Quay, Singapore, at the age of 22 years, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Students of Westwood Primary School of Singapore, set a record for organising the largest exhibition of handmade Kokedama on the eve of their National Day.  A total of 1,672 balls of  soil and moss were tied with strings around the roots of young plants and arranged to form the school logo with the words ’10 years’, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Women members of the Singapore Telugu Cultural Society of Singapore, set a record by making the biggest photo booth of sarees.  They used a total of 200 used sarees which were arranged to form a photo booth measuring 2.6m x 5.9m at the Orchard Hotel, Singapore on the occasion of  Naari 2022 dinner and dance, so that members could take a souvenir photo, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Jennifer Lim of Thy Dreams Matter of Singapore, set a record of organising the largest exhibition of dream-boards. A total of 857 dream boards were exhibited at two lecture theatres of the PSB Academy, Singapore which were submitted by people physically and online, as confirmed on April 16, 2023.

The ODAC & Interact Clubs of Tampines Meridian Junior College of Singapore, set a record for making the largest collage with contact lens blisters. They collected, used contact lens blister packs from fellow students and turned them into an amazing spray-painted collage measuring 1.8 m x 1.8 m, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Residents of Nee Soon South CACC of Singapore, set a record for making the longest tie & dye fabric.  They sewed together many tie-&-dye pieces and made a long fabric measuring 38.8 m x 0.74 m at the PAssion Arts Festival & National Day celebration at MPC@Khatib, Singapore, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Nick Stoeberl of The Salinas, California, USA, set a record for being the fastest person to remove five Jenga blocks with the tongue. He smashed the challenge in 55.526 seconds, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

Team Vistara+ and Synergy of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories of Hyderabad Telangana, India, set a record for the largest heart shaped structure formed using leaves. To commemorate the World Hypertension Day celebrated on May 17, 2023, a heart shaped structure was formed using heart shaped leaves measuring 10’×10′ inches with the names of 30,800 participant doctors written on them, arranged in the form of creepers to raise awareness for Hypertension treatment protocol in rural India at Dr. Reddys IPDO Office in Hyderabad, Telangana.
