Pop Mart and Marina Square of Singapore, set a record of installing the biggest Gashapon machine at a mall. The machine measured 2.2 m x 2.2 m and 4.5 m high with over 4,500 balls which revealed a mystery collectible when released upon inserting a token at the Oh-So-Sweet Bean Christmas event, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.

Singapore-based Bukit Gombak Community Arts and Culture Club and Art Peace set a record for organising the largest show of Nagomi art at the Hillview CC, Singapore. The art form uses pastels and fingers. As many as 1,418 Nagomi art pieces were displayed at the show, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

Ai Tong School, Singapore set a record by organising an event for maximum people tying Chinese knots. The school celebrated its 110th anniversary with 1,928 students, staff, alumni and guests from the Hokkien Huay Kuan tying the traditional Chinese knots together, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

Singapore National Stroke Association set a record for organising the largest mass walk sporting superhero masks at Bayfront Event Square, Singapore on the World Stroke Day. It was a walkathon and fundraising event supported by the Angels Initiative, a charity arm of Boehringer Ingelheim. Caregivers of stroke patients were honoured as superheroes. The event saw 192 people wearing superhero masks, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

Two brothers Kevin and Gareth Fortey from Cwmbran, Wales, set a record for growing the world’s heaviest sunflower head weighing in at 6.44 kg (14.21 lb). It is 1.23 kg (2.71 lb) heavier than their previous record head from 2021, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

SgTrek Pte Ltd., Singapore set a record for organising the longest walk across the island in Singapore.  A team of 10 participants walked for 73 km, across the two most distant and accessible points of mainland Singapore in 20 hours and 29 minutes, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

Students and staff of Park View Primary School of Singapore, set a record for organising the largest exhibition of string art.  A total of 1,620 pieces of snowflake-like crafts by weaving strings around sticks were made and hung on the ceiling of the top-level corridor in the school, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Pasir Ris Meridian Residents’ Network and ITE College Central of Singapore, set a record for the maximum number of people painting handmade lanterns together at Pasir Ris St 71, Singapore.  They organised a lantern painting event to celebrate the mid-autumn festival where a total of 358 participants painted lanterns made from disposable bowls, as confirmed on May 16, 2023.

Jaxon Italiano of Australia set a record for performing maximum pull ups in 24 hours. He did an astonishing number of 8,008 pull ups, breaking the previous record of 7,715 to raise cash for a charity that helps people with dementia, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

BBC Radio Derby set a record by organising an event where maximum crochet fans were knitting together at Derby Arena, United Kingdom. As many as 960 people assembled for the event and did crocheting simultaneously. Around 2,000 blankets were knit and donated to charities in the area, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.
