Preet Chandi of Britain, set a record for being the first Asian woman to complete a solo polar expedition. She is also the first Asian woman to complete a solo expedition to the South Pole. She completed her expedition across Antarctica in January 2023, and later completed thelongest solo unsupported one-way polar ski journey, as confirmed on May 15, 2023.

Seiichi Sano of Japan, set a record of becoming the oldest surfer in the world. He conquered Mount Fuji at the age of 80 and took up surfing at the age of 88 years, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.

POSB PAssion Run for Kids of Singapore, set a record for organising the largest mass plogging session at Angsana Green, Singapore. The term plogging combines jogging with picking up litter. A total of 445 adults and children carried plastic bags and tongs for the plogging session which means jogging along with picking up litter at the 10th anniversary of POSB PAssion Kids Fund, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.

Tommy Cherry of USA, set a record for the fastest time to solve a 3×3 Rubik’s cube while being blindfolded. He solved a single 3×3 Rubik’s cube in just 14.67 seconds, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.

Om Madan Garg of Singapore, set a record by being the youngest to climb the Everest Base Camp. He walked 65 km in over 10 days with his parents (altitude gain of around 2,500 m) from the village of Lukla at 2,860 m to the Everest base at 5,364 m at the age of 6 years and 6 months, as confirmed on May 12, 2023.

Yiheng Wang of China, set a record of being the fastest to solve Rubik’s cube. He solved a 3x3x3 cube with an average time of 4.69 seconds during the semi-final of the Yong Jun KL Speedcubing 2023 event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the age of 9 years, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.

Adriana Brownlee of London, Great Britain, set a record for being the youngest woman to conquer both Mount Everest and K2. She summited Everest in 2021 and K2 in 2022, at the age of 21 years and 202 days, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.

Sebastian Steudtner of Germany, set a record of becoming the highest wave surfer. He surfed through a wave that measured a whopping 26.21 m (86 feet) off the coast of Praia do Norte, Nazaré, Portugal, as confirmed on May 13, 2023.
