Journalists Desmond Chan from Singapore, Pan Eu Jin from Malaysia, and Pholpat Salayakanond from Thailand, set a record of the fastest single journey in an EV from Thailand to Singapore in an expedition organised by Porsche Asia-Pacific. They drove a Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo from Bangkok’s Kanchanaphisek Road Shell Station to Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. The 1,845-km journey took just 29 hours and 15 minutes inclusive of 7 re-charging stops of about 25 minutes each at Shell stations, as confirmed on November 10, 2023.
