Peter Wachtel and students of Adolfo Camarillo High School of California, USA, set a record of making the longest charcuterie board. A total of 50 students and their teacher took 100 hours to create the board measuring 62.38 m (204 ft 7.8 in) over a period of three months in the school’s wood shop, as confirmed on April18, 2023.

Geologists Manas Banerjee and Richard Kapeta, of Zambia, along with their team unearthed the largest uncut emerald at the Kagem mine in Copperbelt, Zambia. The diamond weighs 7,525 carats (1.505 kg / 3 lbs and 5.09 oz) and is named Chipembele, meaning “Rhino” in the local indigenous dialect, as confirmed on April 17, 2023.

Rotary Club of Mehsana Gujarat, India set the record for maximum speakers participating in a speech marathon about environmental conservation at the Rotary Bhawan, Mehsana, Gujarat, India on April 16, 2023. A total of 317 participants of age groups between 6 years till 84 years spoke for 3 minutes each in Gujarati, Hindi and English to create awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. The speech marathon commenced at 7.00am and ended at 10.00pm.

Dayanand College of Ajmer Rajasthan, India set a record for painting Indian Folk Arts on the maximum canvas bags in a single day. A team of 20 students along with three faculty members, principal and vice principal of the college started painting the Indian folk arts as Pithora, Madhubani, Warli, Madana, Sanjhi, Gond, etc on 401 canvas bags as confirmed on April 15,2023.

The Associação Visite Pomerode of Santa Catarina, Brazil, unveiled the largest Easter egg. The egg measured 16.72 m (54 ft 10 in) in height and 10.88 m (35 ft 8 in) in diameter.  It is bigger than three giraffes standing on top of each other as confirmed on April 17, 2023.

LUKAS TM of Ukraine, set a record for making the world’s largest brittle candy “Sharzan”. The candy measuring length 2.01 m, width 0.75 m and height 0.65 m with a weight of 1 ton, was presented in a live concert “Ukraine got talent” aired on STB TV channel, as confirmed on April 14, 2023.

International Headquarters of Assistance to Ukrainians in Lviv, Ukraine, set a record by organising the event with maximum people singing a song. A total of 1086 people from 47 countries sang the song “In the meadow, a red kalyna” with the objective to unite Ukrainians around the world, as confirmed on April 14, 2023.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Headquarters of Ukraine, set a record for organizing the event with maximum people singing the National Anthem of Ukraine on the 31st anniversary of  the Independence day of Ukraine, as confirmed on April 13, 2023.

Long Xuyen broken rice (An Giang Province, Vietnam) set an Asian Record value (according to the Asian Records Criterion for Cuisine and Specialty). Long Xuyen broken rice is unique in that it is cooked with small broken grains, giving it a fleshy texture that melts in the mouth when eaten. The broken rice is accompanied by thinly sliced pork skin, meatloaf, grilled pork ribs, and caramelized braised eggs, served with pickled vegetables, a scallion and oil garnish, and mixed fish sauce. Its well-marinated ingredients create an unforgettable taste for diners. The record was confirmed on March 23rd, 2023.

Cau Duc pineapple based-dishes (Hau Giang province, Vietnam) set an Asian record value (according to the Asian Records criteria for cuisine and specialty). Cau Duc Pineapple is Thailand’s Queen variety, with dark yellow flesh and a crispy, sweet flavor. The locals have produced a plethora of high-value pineapple-based products such as pineapple fruit juice, dried pineapple, jam, Hau Giang province has planned an event in 2022 to process 100 dishes made from Cau Duc pineapple and has been awarded the national record for “the largest event for preparing and processing dishes made from pineapple in Vietnam”.
