IPNR

In a joint meeting of Chief Editors of Records Book, of Member Nations, held on 8th September 2017 on Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, IPNR ‘, International Protocol for New Records (IPNR)’, was formed. It is a strict list of record policies; that needs to be adhered to for all record-breaking/making achievements.

 
The following protocols are accepted; to declare a particular feat a record.
  1. The record applicant should be a citizen of the country, and the record should be attempted in the same country.
  2. The new Record attempted should in all parameters exceed the existing record; to be considered as Record-Breaking.
  3. All guidelines should be strictly followed, as per the protocol.
  4. In case of a new record application, to be called or judged as a record, the record book must consult at least two Member Nations, Chief Editors.
  5. The data of approved Record(s); should be made available to the Member Nations of Record Books on request.
  6. Once in a year, Chief Editors’ Meet, to be held; wherein the participation of all the Member Nations is mandatory to review the record guideline.

Guidelines

Standard Adjudication

(Meant only for those individuals interested in getting their Record(s) verified on-the-spot)

Maximum language activists honoured in a single day at a single venue

In this service we provide:

  1. A dedicated manager for your record attempt.
  2. Guidelines for the attempt to set the record.
  3. An adjudicator for verifying the live record attempt; and felicitating the organisers with a provisional on-spot certificate.
  4. Press invitation and press release for the local media. Our adjudicator will be available during the entire attempt to answer the questions from the media.
  5. Co-sponsor and co-organiser certificates (up to maximum 5) as per information from the main record claimant.
  6. Licence to use the logo of Asia Book of Records for creating awareness about your record attempt among the masses.
  7. 1 copies of the current edition of the India Book of Records – 11 ABR Badges, 1 medal, 2 ABR car stickers, 1 ABR special pen in a beautiful ABR Box.
  8. Final certificate on successful completion of the record event.
  9. Your record-breaking/making event; will be displayed in our ‘updates’ section of the website, along with a featured article of your record attempt.
  10. The successful record details shall be published in the forthcoming edition of the Asia Book of Records.

Rules and Regulations

  1. You should first submit an online record application. The Asia Book of Records Adjudication team will get in touch with you within 48 working hours.
  2. To seek our team of renowned Judges, contact us at least 1 month before the record attempt.
  3. Details about the record must be submitted, at least two weeks before the record attempt.
  4. Asia Book of Records Judge will provide a provisional certificate on the spot on qualifying the record attempt. The final certificate; will be dispatched within 15 days of the record attempt.
  5. In the case of a group – the organiser/team leader should fill the adjudication service form to the  invite a Judge.
  6. In the case of a minor – the parent/guardian needs to fill the adjudication service form.
