The largest Salt Mosaic measuring 600 square meters (30m X 20m) was created by 3,366 students of A.R.J. Group of institutions, Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, India at their school premises, on March 9, 2012. The entire mosaic was completed within 5 hours using 7,055 kgs salt and 405 kgs colored powder.
