Soc Son Waste-to-Energy plant in Hanoi, Vietnam, holds the record for being the largest waste-to-energy plant of Indochina. The plant has five incinerators and three generator sets with 16 doors suited to different types of garbage trucks. It generates 75 MW of electric power from waste and has a capacity of handling 4,000 tons of solid refuse per day, as confirmed on February 13, 2024.
